Shartel Avenue

Shartel Avenue is a north/south street located in central Oklahoma City. Prior to the entire street becoming Shartel Avenue, parts of it were known as Lathrop Avenue, Higgins Avenue, and Ruth Avenue. Shartel Avenue is named for John Shartel.
