Oscar Lee was a land developer and hotel owner in early Oklahoma City. Lee came to the city in 1889 and later opened the Lee Hotel. The hotel would later become the Lee Huckins Hotel, and eventually the Huckins Hotel, which was the temporary state capitol during the period between the time the capital moved from Guthrie in 1910 to Oklahoma City before the current state capitol building was built in 1917.
